Peace and quite surrounded by leafy vegetation of alders, chestnut, oaks…etc

Next to Garganta Ancha, a traveller's dream; the sound of uninterrupted murmur of the water against rocks, dream, that can be continued with a visit to Vía de la Plata

You will find numerous traditional footpaths, for long calm walks or bike rides . For those with greater emotions you can also practice paragliding .

Wonderful sunsets, overlooking the Valley of the Ambroz and the small town of Granadilla , (walled village flooded by the marsh of Gabriel and the Galán. Now a days reformed as a workshop), situated just before Jordanas land.

Following the millenarian road of “Camino de la Plata”, go through the roman arc of “Cáparra” and keep south, this will take you to the Medieval City of Plasencia.

From here you can visit Valle del Jerte (famous for cherry tree in bloom), Comarca de la Vera and of couse Monfragüe nature park, known for its flora and fauna. Also spectacular bird watching: eagles and vultures.

30 minutes from the high way of Ruta de la Plata you can visit:

Hervás : ( Hervás Jewish quarter )

Beautiful and ancient, one of the must important in Spain .

Béjar : a bit further up north (Textile city)

Candelario : (perfectly conserved popular architecture)

And only a few km away from the famous ski resort of La Covatilla
