This lovely groundfloor 2 bed. bungalow is just 40mins.drive from Alicante Airport and situated in a quiet, small urbanisation in Torrevieja on the outskirts of town just a short walk from the famous salt lakes and is within approx. 10mins drive to the town, marina and supermarkets such as Carrefour where you can get anything and everything.
If you like golfing then there is a golf course just 15min. drive away at Villa Martin. This is just one of the many around the area.
There is also a well stocked supermarket as well as a number of restaurants and bars only 10mins walk from the property.
The beach at Torrevieja is only a 10 minute drive or half hour walk from the property, although my favourite beach is in La Zenia and Playa Flamenca which is only a short drive away, however you are never far away from the many different beaches like Guardamar, La Mata etc and they are all lovely white sandy beaches.
There are many markets in and around the area so you could go to a different one every day and often you can book your self on one of the many blanket trips (which are free) and they make a good day out. So it’s worth a try.
You can shop to your hearts delight in the large Habaneras shopping complex 10mins. away. There is also an aqua park close by (only open peak times). A large cinema complex off the N332 and many more shops & bars around the area.
THE PROPERTY is what the Spanish call a bungalow as it is all on one level and is part of a small urbanisation of only 72 other bungalows and securely enclosed with electric gates to the entrance/exit.
The well maintained communal pool is approx. 30ft from the property and gated and also has a shallow bit for young children. There is a large green area around the pool with tables & chairs.
The property is in a sunny position with the sun covering the front in the morning and in the back garden by mid-day (and it is a real sun trap) but you have the option of some shade if wished.
On entering the front gate you have a totally tiled area which has a front porch with small table & 2 chairs and under the window is a brick built storage cupboard (for sun loungers).
On entering the property you have a good size lounge/diner with light coloured tiled flooring with a large rug, aire conditioning (hot & cold) with remote, 3 seater settee with cushions and a recliner chair, round dining table/4 chairs, wooden dresser with cupboards and 4 drawers, matching wall mirror & coffee table, Glass TV unit, 32in.flat screen TV (with English channels) and DVD player, Hifi unit and a number of music Cds and DVDs.
The first door off the lounge is the MASTER BEDROOM which is a good size double with double fitted wardrobe (with shelving and hangers) and 2 bedside tables each with 3 drawers and a dressing table with storage containers, wall mirrors, double bed with headboard (matches bedside tables) and 2 bedside lamps. There are floor mats either side of the bed (so you don’t get cold feet) and a ceiling fan/light for those stuffy nights. The bed linen consists of cotton double sheets, duvet with cover (for cooler nights) or double blanket and pillows.
Through the archway leading from the lounge is the bathroom and twin bedroom.
THE BATHROOM is fully tiled and consists of Bidet, toilet, full length bath with shower fitting and curtain, sink and wall mirror (above sink) with glass shelf and lights. There is also a wall towel holder a linen basket and a couple of towel rails and a heated towel radiator (for those cool times). Bath and hand towels are provided.
THE TWIN BEDROOM is a nice size also and has two single beds with head boards and a fitted wardrobe with hangers and a top shelve for spare bed linen etc. The bed linen is cotton top & bottom sheets (singles) and duvets with covers or blankets and pillows for each of the beds and matching curtains and bedspreads. There is a free standing fan in the room for those hot evenings and a bedside table with drawers and a lamp.
NOTE: all windows have security shutters fitted and act in keeping the heat/sunlight out in hot conditions.
From the lounge through an archway into the FULLY FITTED KITCHEN where you will find all that you need in the way of a microwave, toaster, electric kettle, fitted oven & halogen hob + extractor hood, fridge freezer, many cooking utensils, crockery & cutlery. Place mats and table cloths.
There is a back door from the kitchen into the rear garden.
THE REAR GARDEN is part tiled and part stone chippings. It is a fair size garden with pretty plant borders (a watering system connected to the outside tap) and the tiled area covers one half of the garden which is used for lounging in the sun and we have a new glass top patio table & 4 chairs set for your outside dining. The washing machine is outside on the patio under the kitchen window. There is also a washing line for your washing and pegs. We have sun loungers in the front storage cupboard.
