MAR AZUL is comprised of only 72 luxury apartments arranged in a 'V'-shape, facing South, and designed so that each apartment is provided with the intimate privacy that one may expect from a private villa.
The open end of the 'V' is purely beach & sea! Within the 'V' is a totally unique area of exuberant & colourful tropical gardens, and within that lies an inner world of spectacular sculptured swimming pools, flowing canals, fountains, cascading waterfalls, a giant overflowing bowl, sunken deck-chairs, jacuzzi beds, and romantic thatched cabanas with lovely comfortable armchairs & settees.
Our apartment is perfectly situated right on the edge of the shallower central pool. It's just 5 privacy steps down to the pool, and a stone's throw from the beach & Sea.
The large area provided by the terrace and our private lawn can be rendered 'child-friendly' by the easy erection of the provided trellises to cover the openings in the front garden wall, and a gate to guard the steps down to pool-side.
The garage, apartment, gardens and pool areas are all accessible by lifts & ramps & wide walkways suitable for wheel-chair use. There is a hydraulically operated chair-lift for easy access into the inside heated pool.

Third, our latest addition, the “LAGUNA VILLAGE”, consisting of 30 exclusive shops (including Hugo Boss & Amani) , a luxurious beach-club with heated swimming pool, three top-of-the-range restaurants (including "Trader Vics"), a unique café / bistro, a sushi restaurant, and a tapas bar !
Within an easy 6 minute walk along the beach, and like no other shopping centre in the world, the “LAGUNA VILLAGE” offers the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in a pool or drink a cocktail on the beach, in between visits to a variety of prestigious shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in this tropical oasis.
Fourth, the Selwo Adventure Park, just five minutes drive away. Here you get REALLY close-up to more than 2,000 animals from every continent, living in semi-freedom in a huge wilderness covering a million square metres. A fascinating tour can be made in a four-wheel drive truck that crosses the different landscapes of Africa without actually moving away from the Costa del Sol. Then take the short-cut back on foot, across several overhead rope walkways, and through the biggest aviary in Europe, an utterly enchanting valley totally enclosed in netting ! I've left the best to the end. Of all the major attractions along the coast of the Costa del Sol, Estepona stands out from the crowd, and it's only 5 minutes in a taxi from MAR AZUL along an extremely attractive tree-lined boulevard with lovely fountains, or a 30 minute amble along the promenades and beach. Estepona is the focal point of this luxury resort area because of its authentic and unspoilt Andalusian atmosphere.
A real living Spanish town of 30,000 souls, the ebb & flow of Estepona’s daily and seasonal rhythms moves very much as it has done for centuries, reminiscent of another unchanging ebb & flow, that of the shimmering turquoise sea rippling up it’s beautiful wide sandy beach.
The pace of life of the inhabitants, whilst perky in the morning, slows right down as the sun reaches it’s highest point, only to erupt into lively exuberance as the sun sets and the young and old alike fill the quaint narrow cobbled streets, the atmospheric cafes, superb sea-food restaurants, and the locals' bars and tapas bars in all the pretty squares.

A £100.00 damage deposit is required, which is fully refundable if the apartment is left in good order on departure
Payments normally by cheque, or direct Bank to Bank transfer. PAYPAL is an option, but a 3% surcharge is levied, which is less than they charge me !
In the event of a holiday needing to be cancelled, I ask to be advised as soon as possible, whereupon I will use my best endeavours to re-let. If I can re-let, I will return your deposit, less any expenses incurred for additional advertising etc.
I strongly advise that cancellation insurance is taken out.
