| This exclusive private villa is exceptionally well located for every holiday requirement. Located on a hillside at the end of a quiet and private cul de sac within the prestigious urbanisation of Riviera del Sol, villa Casa Blanca is within a ten minute walk of the beach, shops, golf course, tennis club, bars and restaurants. It is equipped with air-conditioning for summer and heating for winter.
The pool is flood-lit and the pool terrace, courtyard and gardens are equipped with outside lighting to enable you to enjoy the warm summer evenings out of doors. All linen and towels are provided (with the exception of pool and beach towels and, for the sake of health and hygiene, baby cot linen) and are changed once a week. The pool and gardens are professionally maintained once a week. Built around a beautiful Andalusian courtyard, the main villa is all on one level making it suitable for the elderly or disabled. Most rooms give directly onto this courtyard which is furnished as an additional outdoor lounge with large comfy wicker armchairs and sofa and itself leads out onto the private pool terrace with its superb views over the Mediterranean to Gibraltar and the mountains of North Africa. There is sun virtually all day on the pool terrace. The formal indoor lounge is both spacious and elegant and looks out over the pool terrace and the sea. It is fully furnished and equipped with a ceiling fan, Sky TV, video and DVD, CD and radio cassette player. The elegant dining area seats eight. The main master bedroom has lovely sea views, air-conditioning as well as a ceiling fan and a large en suite bathroom with two hand basins. The two double guest rooms look over the private gardens; both have ceiling fans and one has air conditioning. There is another shower room with toilet and hand basin. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, iron and ironing board and a washing machine. For safety reasons there are discreet gates which can be used to close off the pool terrace enabling children to play in the gardens without being able to access the pool if an adult is not available to supervise them. The owner of this villa is a keen gardener and within the delightful gardens can be found banana, orange, fig, plum and pear trees as well as colourful geraniums and many other flowers. You are invited to pick your own fresh fruit according to the season. Separate Studio Apartment (sleeps 2 to 3, 1 bathroom) The apartment is reached by steps leading down the side of the house to the lower level of the property. It has its own private garden and entrance. Although there is shared access through the main gate, the two accommodations are entirely separate from one another. This studio apartment is sometimes occupied by the property manager but for an additional fee can be made available to members of the same party renting the main villa if extra accommodation is required. The pool, pool terrace and upper level gardens are reserved exclusively for the use of guests in the main villa. Fuengirola with its shops, restaurants, bars, beaches, go-karting and Aquapark is just a 12 minute car drive along the sea front and the quaint and pretty mountain village of Mijas Pueblo famous for its donkeys, winding narrow cobble streets and wonderful restaurants is but a 12 minute drive inland. In addition to sight-seeing, local activities include: swimming, golf (33 courses on the Costa del Sol, several very near), tennis (the Lew Hoad Tennis Club is very near), walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, wind-surfing, water skiing, mountain biking, aquaparks, amusement parks, and other attractions. More detailed information on all of the above activities is left in a folder at the villa to help you enjoy to the full your time at Villa Casa Blanca. Gibraltar, Rhonda, Seville, Granada, Nerja, El Churro and the mountains of the Sierra Nevada as well as the marshlands with flamingoes and other bird life are but some of the places worth visiting and all are easily reached by car from the villa. Cabopino has to be one of the Costa del Sol’s best kept secrets with its beautiful sandy beaches and a variety of renowned restaurants in a picturesque and romantic setting on the harbour. If you can tear yourself away from your private pool terrace you can be there within five minutes! Andalucia has something for everyone: the holiday towns of the Costas (Malaga, Torremolinos, Marbella and Fuengirola) and the miles of clubs, bars, cafes, golf clubs and beaches that line a rocky coast. For cultural visitors, the highlights are the cities of Seville, Cordoba and Granada. For wildlife enthusiasts, there are some of the highest mountains in Europe (including Europe's southernmost skiing resort) and marshlands crowded with flamingos. THE WEATHER In the summer the weather is very hot but the location of the villa enables it to benefit from the cooling sea breezes. The months of May, June, September and October are a bit cooler but are still very warm. The winter period of November to March, with its pleasant temperatures and blue skies, is the best time for playing golf and exploring Andalusia by car. You would be very unlucky to have a whole week of rain at this time but there could be the odd day or a few hours of inclement weather as it is winter after all. Yearly average temperature is 22º Centigrades, with more than 320 days of sunshine! Rental Rates for 6 people per week in British Pounds.
