The town itself is the ideal place relax or use as a base to travel all around the island as it is the most central town on the island.

The Oasis Park Zoo the biggest attraction on the island, Baku Water Park, oceancatt and sub cat with discounts available to all guests.

Caleta boasts of 2 championship golf courses with 20% discount for all our guests and the modern Atlantico shopping centre and the main city of Puerto del Rosario are only 15 minutes away on the bus which stops directly across from Esmerelda.

A car is not essential as buses run from north to south of the island via Caleta regularly, although if you plan a trip across the mountains a car is needed.

Bars and the best restaurants on the island are all within 5 minutes, a Portuguese steak house (discounts available to all guests) is recommended and is closest to the apartment at 150m. It is easy to find, but book early as it is always difficult to get a table.

Sean Ogs bar and the Step Inn are 2 Irish bars with all the games and live music plus Scottish and English bars are also close by.
